118 E Austin Street, Mount Victoria. Low ceilings, deep and long. No windows but a second door next to the bed leading outside with a glass pane to let in light. Closet with a curtain, collections of jewelery, skin care products, and receipts on each surface. A low bookcase on the right wall facing the bed. Bright pictures on the wall around the bed. Miss-matched blankets. A dresser made of wicker. The smell of vinegar and vanilla. In the morning you here birds chirping.
